I can't believe how fast the summer is flying by already. Already into June and before you know it it will be the 4th of July! We had a great Memorial Day weekend, and a great kick off to our restaurant operation. We have finalized the hours in both the ice cream room and the restaurant and are in full summer operation. Check out the website for more details on hours and info. The ice cream is once again selling well! Our biggest flavors have been Reese's Chunk and Seattle Cake Batter, with Brownie Batter and Strawberry Cheesecake also flying out of the tubs. We continue to experiment with new flavors and if you have a flavor you have been thinking about please go to the website and fill out the Can You Dip It? Survey. You ice cream flavor my be the next one we try! Stop by and see us some time!

So today was opening day...AND IT WAS AWESOME!! We had a great turn out and went through quite a bit of ice cream. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to sample the first batch of the 2010 season. We were really encouraged this year by the turnout for the first day and also by the comments that people made about our website and our facebook page. If you haven't seen our website yet hop over to addiesicecream.com where you can find more info about our business and what's going on at the shop. We are open tomorrow from 1pm-9pm and then all week from 11am-9pm. We have started a frequent buyer program this year as well, so I want to make everyone aware of that. Basically for every ten purchases you make you get a free small cone. Don't forget to pick one up, and collect your stamps with every purchase. One last thing, I want to give a special shout out to all our friends who have told their friends about our place. You wouldn't believe what a huge impact the word of mouth advertising has had on our business, and we are truly humbled and grateful for all the kind words!! See you tomorrow!!
